Low Voltage Holiday Detectors

Low voltage holiday detectors are instruments used to identify and locate defects or "holidays" in coatings applied to metal surfaces, such as pipelines or tanks. Operating at low voltage, these detectors apply a controlled electrical charge to the coated surface; if a defect is present, it will cause a discharge, indicating the location of the flaw.
