20kV SPY Jeep Meter PJM

This Pocket Jeepmeter is for high voltage pulse output detectors. It has a range of 0-20 kv. One standard 9-volt alkaline battery powers the PJM.

The output voltage of your holiday detector is subject to influence by weather conditions, moisture on the pipe, improper grounding, and soil conditions. In order to assure the absolute highest accuracy and performance from your holiday detectors (jeeps). Pipeline Inspection Company has developed three special Jeepmeters for checking detector voltage output. These Jeepmeters are designed to accurately measure the output voltage of any detector.

The Pocket JeepMeter is designed to accurately measure the high voltage output voltage of Pulse Only Holiday Detectors such as our model 785 & 790 Portable Holiday Detectors or our 125 & 135 In-Plant Holiday Detectors. The SPY® Model PJM Pocket JeepMeter provides the ultimate in convenience and versatility. The Pocket JeepMeter measures pulse only high voltage output and will measure up to 20 kV

1. Which holiday detectors does the PJM work with?
 The 20 kV SPY Jeep Meter PJM measures pulse holiday detectors, including the SPY Model 785, the SPY Model 790, and the 25 kV and 35 kV Inplant pulse detectors.

2. Can the PJM measure DC holiday detectors?
 No. The PJM measures pulse output only. For DC detectors, use the 5 kV SPY Jeep Meter DCPJM, or choose the SPY Jeep Meter Model JM 40 kV, which measures both.
